Kinderkram is a personal collection of interesting art made by children.
Kids’ stuff tends to be considered irrelevant for the adult world. But look closely and you’ll find a real treasure trove of pure artistic expression - all things anything but irrelevant.
Kids have a natural drive to make art using forms and patterns that can be traced throughout our entire cultural heritage - from cave paintings to Egyptian hieroglyphs to the works of modern painters like Matisse, Der Blaue Reiter, Paul Klee, Emil Schumacher or American artists like Cy Twombly or Robert Motherwell.
Picasso famously said “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up”.
